On November 9, 2007, a busload of energetic,
service-oriented
6th graders from Wheatland Center School and some of their parents came
to Lilly Lake to help
older
or physically hurting residents of Lilly Lake rake leaves. They
gathered 197 bags of them and removed an unknown amount of dead wood.
The Association thanks Nicole Curran for
coordinating this enormous help to our senior and disabled residents.
Many, many thanks to these
wonderful young people for their hard work in service to our community.
