The annual Lily Lake Resort Catch-and-Release Ice Fishing Derby took place on February 9, 2008.

Resort
It was a perfect day for ice fishing: temperature in the 20s, light wind. It was the calm just before another bitter cold storm blew in.

Carsi
Cars were parked everywhere at the public beach.
SOLICITING PHOTOS!!
Sinking into the wet, sloppy ice crust made getting around the lake extremely difficult. So we need your photos. Please send digital pictures to Marilyn. Please!! No huge multi-megabyte files. Each photo should be no more than 200 KB. Thank you in advance.

Jeff Bernier and his sons visited friends at Lilly Lake and participated in the Derby for the first time. Jeff sent pictures showing how their day went. He also wrote these touching comments:

"It was our first time entering the derby and we absolutely loved it. The Breakfast Buffet...delicious and filling. The weather...perfect. The fellow fishermen (women)... respectful when children present. And the fishing...Good, for our first time. Thank You and Everyone at Lily Lake Resort for making lasting memories of these short moments with our children."

Jeff, thanks for coming to visit and for these great pictures!
