Spring meeting	Date: Saturday, March 29 Time: 10 am to 11:30 am Place: Wheatland Town Hall
Neighborhood garage & bake sale	Date: Saturday, June 7 Time: 9 am to 3 pm  Description: Neighborhood residents who want to sell set out tables in front of their homes Needed: Donated baked goods Chairperson: Sue Baldwin, 537-2199, sue1@wi.rr.com
July 4th Decorating contest	Date: July 4 Time: Judges will view decorations at a mutually agreed-upon time from both land and water. Description: Decorations will be viewed for patriotic theme, beauty, and overall artistic merit. Prizes: $50, $25, $15, and $10 for first, second, third and fourth place, respectively Chairperson: Marilyn Magnuski, 537-4750,  mjmagnuski@netwurx.net Winners in 2008: Richard and Jennifer Reed, Jim and Jane Hall, Martin and Cheryl Kopier, and Alan and Marion Brown.
4th of July parade & bake sale	Date: Saturday July 5 Time: Bake sale, 9 am, parade 11 am  Description: Parade followed by kids’ games.  Parade starts at Lily Lake Rd and 77th St. Everyone is invited to dress in patriotic themes. Prizes for the best in the following categories of costumes: Proud Patriots, Freedom's Originals, America's Funniest Kids, Future Group Leaders, USA on Wheels. All kids get treats.
